The Children's Advocacy Sandy Thompson Award of Excellence was created to acknowledge any worker in "the system" that goes above and beyond their position to help children. We've changed the name to honor our late friend Sandy Thompson. Sandy always went above and beyond the call. Many workers do extraordinary things on behalf of children & never recognized for their efforts. This is just our way of saying thank you keep up the good work. The winner receives a $1,000 check and recognition on a plaque on the wall of the Children's Advocacy Center at Child Haven campus.
